How a 100% WFH BPO in India actually works

A work-from-home BPO is not a cheaper call centre with laptops. If you remove the floor, you have to replace three things the floor used to give you for free: a quiet, reliable desk; a supervisor who can see trouble early; and a culture that does not depend on someone walking past a row of seats.

Trinitas was founded in 2026 as remote-first from India. We never had a floor to fall back on. That forced the rules below. They are not marketing. They are how we keep a client SLA when the agent is in another city.

The desk has to qualify, not just the person

We assess skill, then we assess the kit. A strong English score on a phone in a café is useless on a live queue. We expect a Windows PC that can stay current, enough RAM to run the client tools, and a wired connection. Wi-Fi-only and shared family machines fail at the first patch Tuesday or the first video calibration.

Healthcare and other regulated work is stricter still — see our healthcare WFH page. If the home cannot meet the bar, the candidate does not start. That is kinder than hiring them and firing them in week two when the line drops mid-call.

Supervision without a floor walk

Team leads do not “check in” with a good-morning GIF. They run a start-of-shift huddle, a live queue view, and a short end-of-day exception list. If an agent is silent for a block that should have contacts, we treat it as an incident, not as “maybe they are busy.”

Coaching is scheduled. We sample work the same day when possible, not at month-end when the habit is already set. The agent hears the clip or sees the ticket, and the note goes in the file. Remote work makes lazy coaching easy. We do not allow it to become the default.

Attendance is a control, not a vibe

Logged-in time, schedule adherence, and unplanned leave are reported weekly with the SLA pack. A remote team that is “usually around” will miss your peak. We roster to your clock, including extended hours from India, and we backfill when someone is out. There is no “the floor will absorb it.”

Quality is sampled, not assumed

Every live line has a sample plan: how many contacts, which error types, who calibrates with the client. If accuracy or CSAT dips, we shrink the queue or add nested support. We do not add more untrained seats to “cover volume.” Volume without quality is just a faster way to damage a brand.

What clients should demand of any WFH vendor

  • A written kit standard, enforced before go-live
  • Named supervisors with span-of-control that is actually coachable
  • Daily visibility of occupancy and exceptions, not only a monthly PDF
  • A join-mover-leaver process that removes system access the same day
